"The calendar sync works well overall, but..."
The calendar sync works well overall, but it’s not always instant. I’ve had a couple moments where I had to double-check bookings just to make sure everything lined up. Support was helpful when I reached out, which I appreciated, but compared to some other tools I’ve used, this one still feels a little clunky at times.
"I’ve been using MotoPress for my small rental..."
I’ve been using MotoPress for my small rental place, it’s made things a lot easier for me. Managing rooms, changing prices, and keeping track of bookings feels straightforward, which I really appreciate because I don’t want to spend half my day figuring out software.
The calendar sync has been the biggest win for me. Before using it, I was always worried about double bookings, and I did run into that problem a few times. Now it feels much more organized and less stressful.
It wasn’t something I mastered in five minutes, and I did have to check the support docs here and there, but they were helpful enough. My final take is that MotoPress is definitely worth it for a small rental setup like mine because it saves me time every week and gives me a lot more peace of mind.

"Works well, minor slowdown"
I’ve been using this plugin for a bit and overall it does what I need without much hassle. I did notice my pages feel a little slower after installing it, but it’s not a huge deal for me since everything still works fine. If you’re okay with a small tradeoff, it’s a solid plugin.

"Worked great with my theme"
Had no issues using this with my theme. Everything worked smoothly, so I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

"Decent notifications, but kind of annoying"
The email notifications do work for the most part, so I can’t really complain too much there. But the settings are a bit messy and confusing. I turned off what I thought would stop certain emails, and I still keep getting some of them. It’s decent overall, just more annoying than it needs to be.

"Payment setup was trickier than I expected"
I got MotoPress mainly to handle bookings, and maybe I was expecting too much, but setting up payments was more frustrating than I thought it would be. Stripe and PayPal did eventually work after I poked around for a while, but the whole process felt a bit clunky to me. There were a few payment options I thought would be available that weren’t, and the docs didn’t really clear things up much. For the price, I just expected the checkout setup to feel smoother.
"It works, but I definitely felt a bit lost at first"
I’ll be honest, setting this up was a little confusing and I felt kind of embarrassed that it took me longer than I expected to figure it out. Once I got through the setup, though, it did sync the bookings properly. It works, but you may need a bit of patience in the beginning

"I used motopress on my WordPress site, it..."
I used motopress on my WordPress site, it does what it’s supposed to do for the most part. The install was simple, and the basic features loaded fine with my theme, so it’s not like the plugin is broken or anything.
After a WordPress update, I did run into a few small layout issues and had to adjust things again, which was kind of annoying. The support docs helped a bit, but I still feel like it could’ve been smoother. That said, I wouldn’t call it a bad experience, just a slightly fussy one.
"Translation stuff feels not fully done"
MotoPress is working okay for me, but setting up translations was kind of annoying, honestly. Some of the text strings just didn’t show up in WPML, so I had to go in and fix a few bits myself, which was not very fun. It’s usable, but it still feels a bit unfinished in that area.

"I’ve been using it for a..."
I’ve been using it for a bit and it feels secure. I’m not super technical, so I can’t speak to every detail, but nothing feels sketchy or confusing. I was actually thinking about this while making coffee the other morning, because I’m weirdly picky about anything that handles my info, and this one gives me a solid sense of trust.

"Refund policy felt strict and the answers kept changing"
The refund policy is easy enough to understand, but it felt strict and not very flexible. What bothered me more was getting different answers depending on who I talked to. One person made it sound like there might be some wiggle room, then someone else said the opposite, which was frustrating. It would’ve been a lot better if the communication was more consistent.

"Decent idea, but it kept causing issues"
I really wanted this plugin to work because when it’s running properly, it’s actually useful. But for me, it just wasn’t consistent enough. One day everything would be fine, then after an update something else would break. I ran into calendar problems and random checkout errors, and ended up spending way too much time fixing basic things. It’s got potential, but I wouldn’t rely on it for a live site right now.

"Setup was way easier than I thought"
I got everything set up without much hassle, the steps were easy to follow and I only had to check the docs once. Overall it went smoother than I expected, I’m happy with it.

"License is a bit strict"
It works fine, honestly. No real issues with how it runs, but the license does feel a little limiting, like a bit more limiting than I expected.

"Booking setup was okay, but a bit disappointing"
I used motopress to handle room bookings on my site. The calendar and payment setup weren’t too difficult, and guests are able to book without any major issues. Still, I found myself going back to the docs more than I expected, which was a little frustrating. It works, but I was hoping the whole setup would feel smoother...

"Took me way too long to get the hang of it"
I had a hard time figuring this out at first. Even the basic stuff took me ages to understand, and I kept feeling like I was missing something obvious, but I couldn’t tell if it was me or if things just weren’t explained clearly enough. I don’t mind learning something new, but I felt like I had to spend way more time than expected just trying to understand how to do simple things.

I’ve noticed the plugins get updated every so often, maybe mostly little fixes here and there. Still, it’s nice because it gives me the sense that the product is being looked after and hasn’t just been left alone

"I’m using motopress for a hotel website in..."
I’m using motopress for a hotel website in three languages, and I ran into an issue where some strings weren’t showing up correctly. At this point I’m tired of chasing support tickets for little site problems, so I wasn’t really looking forward to dealing with another one.
To be fair, their support team replied quickly and actually checked my setup instead of sending some generic copy-paste instructions. They pointed me to the right WPML settings, and the issue was fixed the same day. Nice to have it sorted without a long back-and-forth.

"I used MotoPress on a site it..."
I used MotoPress on a site it was just okay. Like I said, some parts did work fine, so it wasn’t a total disaster or anything. But the setup was more confusing than I expected, and a few things didn’t look right after I got everything going. I ended up spending extra time fixing small stuff that I thought would be easier. Support wasn’t awful, like I said, but it was kind of slow when I needed help. For the price, I just expected things to be smoother. It might be fine for other people, but for me, I wasn’t very happy overall.

"Better than I expected once I got into it"
I started using MotoPress for my booking site thinking I’d probably need a bunch of extra plugins to fill in the gaps, but it actually had way more built in than I expected. Payments, calendars, emails, rates, coupons, most of the stuff I needed was already there. It did take me a little while to figure out where everything was, so the setup wasn’t instant, but once I got used to it, it felt complete.
